Fun Friday 3: Hot Off the Press!

Hello again. My hope is that through this blog series, you will get to know a bit more about me and the things that inspire me. This blog series is focused on the same three questions every week:

  1. What song has been my jam this week, and why?

  2. What is a lesson that you have learned this week?

  3. What is something that you have been thankful for this week?

Here we go with this week’s answers!

  1. This week I just cannot get enough of She’s a Bad Mama Jama by Carl Carlton. I am a big believer in funky vibes and rhythms that just make you want to dance. That is why I just cannot get enough of this song this week!
  2. This week I learned a hard lesson… Sometimes, being right is not always a good thing. I always thought it was funny when someone whips back in movies that they are not happy they were right about something. But, not all things in life a great, and there are times when you have to pay consequences for being right.
  3. This week I am so thankful that the sun rises and sets everyday. Every morning there is a new sun rise that brings new opportunities for me and for you. I would like to encourage you to keep this in mind as you wake up in the morning. Regardless of what yesterday brought, you have the opportunity to shape your today.

Well, that is it for this week. Feel free to enjoy some of my other blogs in the mean time. Until next week, my name is Rick Morsovillo.

I have a rather unique set of answers for this week’s post and I am excited to share them with you!

  1. This week I have been captivated by Sideways by Citizen Cope and I just love the slowly building cascade of musical and lyrical rhythm.
  2. This week I learned what a “handler” is. A handler is somebody who supports a politician so that they can focus on their campaign. As it turns out, I was once a handler for Carly Fiorina even though I didn’t know it at the time.
  3. Rick Mosovillo with Carly FiorinaLastly, this week I am thankful for all the friends that I have met around the world. I think technology is pretty sweet and I love that it helps me stay in contact with people that I have met around the world.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s installment. I look forward to sharing more of my inspirations with you next week. Until then, my name is Rick Morsovillo and welcome again to my personal blog.

Fun Friday Introduction

Hey all,

So, I have decided to begin a weekly blog series posted on Friday’s that shares a little bit more about me and my inspirations. I have noticed this growing trend among us entrepreneurs as we seek to share more about ourselves with those that follow us. Through this blog series, you will get to know a bit more about me and the fun quirks that move me. This basic blog is centered around the same three questions every week:

  1. What song has been my jam this week, and why?

  2. What is a lesson that you have learned this week?

  3. What is something that you have been thankful for this week?

Now, on to the good stuff!

  1. This week my main jam is Inner City Blues by Marvin Gaye. I just love that cool funky vibe!
  2. This week I learned how to set up iCal so I can view my calendar on my phone. It might seem simple, but this has really saved me time, and was a lot easier than I had thought! If you have not done this yet on your iPhone, I would highly recommend it!
  3. This week I am so thankful for my family. I think I have the greatest family in the world, and I think it is just fine to be biased about that. I just love watching my boys grow up and become men.

And that’s it for this week’s Fun Friday! I hope you enjoyed my post and I look forward to sharing more in the future. Stay tuned for more weekly updates from me. Until then, my name is Rick Morsovillo.
